Are you looking to form a new limited liability company (LLC), but you’re not sure which of the many formation services can best assist you? Companies like CorpNet and Incfile can do the heavy lifting for you, but how do you know which one you should use?
In this CorpNet vs Incfile LLC service comparison, we’ll walk through their main commonalities and differences. By the time you’re done reading, we’re confident that you’ll know which one is the right choice to form your new LLC.
Incfile and CorpNet are both good LLC formation services, and either one of them can form a compliant entity. However, Incfile has a few advantages, starting with their offer of a free LLC formation service, which significantly undercuts CorpNet’s $108 base-level package (you’ll pay your state’s fee either way).
Another important difference is that Incfile includes a full year of registered agent service with any LLC formation package, whereas CorpNet only provides a 60-day trial in their cheapest package. If you would like to learn more about these two service providers, read on to discover all the relevant details.
1) Affordable: CorpNet and Incfile/Bizee can save you hundreds of dollars over hiring a traditional business attorney to draft and file your Articles of Organization. Furthermore, given the relatively basic nature of the LLC as a business structure, you may not need a lawyer’s expertise in the first place.
2) Customer Support: Even though you’ll be saving a considerable amount of money, you still won’t be going it alone. With Incfile/Bizee and CorpNet, you have access to their helpful customer service reps who can answer your questions. No need to waste time trying to find the answers for yourself.
3) Experience: If you prefer to conduct business with experienced companies, look no further. CorpNet and Incfile/Bizee have each formed thousands of businesses over the years. They’re legitimate operations that know how to get the job done right.
4) Customer Reviews: Not only do these companies both have plenty of experience, but the vast majority of customers they’ve served are pleased. Incfile/Bizee and CorpNet have many customer reviews across the web, and they’re mostly positive in nature.
5) Additional Services: If you want other business services like registered agent service or a federal tax ID number (EIN), CorpNet and Incfile/Bizee can help you with much more than just your formation itself. There’s no need to shop around at multiple companies when you can get everything you need under one roof.
6) Educational: Looking for more info about business services before you buy? Still thinking about the DIY route? Whether or not you end up using CorpNet or Incfile/Bizee for LLC service, their online learning centers are packed with free information about tons of business topics.
Incfile/Bizee: Incfile/Bizee will help you form your business for free while also providing a year of registered agent service. Once the first year is over, the registered agent service will renew for $119 per year. In addition, their $199 Gold package and $299 Platinum package both include valuable features that make them options as well, even at their higher price points.
CorpNet: CorpNet charges $29 for shipping and handling of every order, so we added that fee to the price of each package to make their service easier to compare with their competitors. Their $108 Basic package provides a decent value if your business formation needs are relatively simple. Their $248 Deluxe and $298 Complete packages include a full year of registered agent service but are rather expensive compared to some other services.
Incfile/Bizee: Incfile/Bizee’s experience level is high, as they’ve helped form more than 1 million businesses since they opened in 2004.
CorpNet: The ownership group behind CorpNet has been providing business solutions since 1997, and they’ve served more than 100,000 business clients.
Incfile/Bizee: Incfile/Bizee offers phone and email support, which we tested. Incfile/Bizee’s phone support is typically responsive and helpful. However, its email support is much less responsive. Some of our emails have gone unanswered, and several of the responses we have received are just form emails that don’t directly address our questions.
CorpNet: CorpNet offers phone, email, and chat support. Unlike some competitors, they also offer bilingual support, which is a nice feature for Spanish-speaking customers. We tested all three support options and received prompt responses, with accurate answers that were expanded upon to an impressive degree.
Incfile/Bizee: With Incfile/Bizee, turnaround times vary based on each individual state’s formation speeds. This can be as quick as a few days in some states or could take several weeks in others. You can also add expedited processing to speed it up, although the price will vary by state.
CorpNet: CorpNet lists turnaround times for both standard and expedited service on the package selection screen. Depending on your state, this could be as quick as a couple of business days, or it could take as long as several weeks. Their Deluxe and Complete packages both include 24-hour document preparation, which means CorpNet will prepare and submit your formation paperwork within 24 hours of you placing your order.
Incfile/Bizee: Incfile/Bizee doesn’t just have hundreds of customer reviews available online, they have 75,000+ of them. Furthermore, their feedback is mostly positive, with critical reviews in short supply.
CorpNet: CorpNet has similarly high ratings but with a smaller volume of feedback. Still, we were able to find around 700 mostly positive reviews of their services.
Incfile/Bizee: As you walk through the process of signing up for Incfile/Bizee, your steps are personalized based on the state you live in and the type of business you wish to establish. There are hyperlinks throughout the application to learn more about a specific question or entry on the form. There are a few upsells and third-party offers to navigate through, but if you opt into any of them, your total price is immediately updated on the screen. There are never any surprises with Incfile/Bizee.
CorpNet: Your total price adds up at the bottom of the package selection page as you choose your package and add-on features, and it includes your state fee so that you know exactly how much your formation will cost before you start entering your information. Once you’ve made your choices, you’ll fill out their order form, which is where you give them your contact info, along with any relevant business information that they’ll need to form your company.
With either CorpNet or Incfile/Bizee, you have access to an array of additional services that can help you grow and maintain your business. As you might expect, these companies offer many of the same services, as either can help you with registered agent service, foreign qualifications, EIN acquisition, annual reports, amendments, and more.
However, there are also some services that are only available from one company or the other. For instance, Incfile/Bizee provides its customers with business accounting services, which is a feature that CorpNet lacks. However, CorpNet’s automated corporate compliance platform allows you to manage multiple business entities with ease, and while Incfile/Bizee also has a compliance reminder system, it’s not as complete as what you’ll get from CorpNet.
CorpNet and Incfile/Bizee have many similarities in the way they provide LLC service, but they also differ in a few key ways. Furthermore, depending on your specific needs and priorities, your preference may vary.
If you’re not yet decided between CorpNet and Incfile/Bizee, let’s review a couple of scenarios that may sway you in one direction or the other.

Frequently Asked Questions About Incfile/Bizee and CorpNet
If I decide to use Incfile, which package should I choose?
The most widely recommended LLC formation package offered by Incfile/Bizee is their Silver plan, which is free if you pay your own state fee. With this option, you’ll receive a year of registered agent service in addition to your formation.
Does either handle extra state requirements like New York publication?
Incfile/Bizee doesn’t provide assistance with publication requirements. We called their customer support department to make sure, and they told us that state publication requirements “need to be taken care of with the state directly.” It’s unfortunate, especially when some competitors (like CorpNet and ZenBusiness) offer formation services along with state-specific compliance requirements like publication. Check out our New York publication service for more information. See also ZenBusiness customer reviews.
Which service has fewer upsells?
In our opinion, both CorpNet and Incfile/Bizee do a good job of avoiding upsells throughout the ordering process. The only note we’d like to add to this point is that, while it’s not technically an “upsell,” CorpNet excludes shipping costs from their advertised price points. Nearly every other company in this industry includes shipping in their price points, and CorpNet’s $29 price tag for mailing a few pieces of paper is pretty high.
Does either of these services have a refund policy?
CorpNet has a fantastic refund policy. Their 100% satisfaction guarantee gives you 60 days from your purchase date to request a refund, which they will provide with no questions asked and no processing fee. It’s nearly identical to our refund policy at ZenBusiness.
Incfile/Bizee’s refund policy isn’t quite so generous. They only allow customers to request refunds before they’ve sent your payment to the state, which they say is often within 24 hours. Even if you squeeze your refund request into this tight window, there’s a $30 processing fee. Once they’ve submitted your money to your formation state, the refund window is closed.
Is Incfile/Bizee as good as other LLC services?
Would you like to take a look at a few other options and see if Incfile/Bizee is as good as other options? Check out our comparisons of Incfile/Bizee to other top-rated LLC services:
Which LLC formation website is faster?
CorpNet and Incfile/Bizee have very similar turnaround times in most states because they both base their estimates on how quickly each state processes LLC formations. However, we will point out that Incfile/Bizee is often a day or two quicker in many states.
Can I form an LLC on my own, without a service?
You can. In fact, plenty of people do form their own LLCs without assistance every day. However, we simply like to caution our readers that because every state has its own requirements to form an LLC, it can be a hassle to familiarize yourself with the details of your state’s specific rules and regulations.
In addition, we appreciate the peace of mind we get from hiring a professional service because we trust their expertise. ZenBusiness LLC Service can form your LLC for free, as long as you cover the state fee.
What is the biggest advantage of each service?
CorpNet has responsive customer service with bilingual support, along with several options for accessing their support, which represents a noteworthy advantage. As for Incfile/Bizee, their biggest advantage is their inclusion of a full year of best registered agent service with their free Silver package, a deal that few competitors can match.
Which company offers more help with ongoing compliance requirements?
CorpNet has a decent price point for annual report service, at $99 plus the state’s required fee. They also offer registered agent service at the rate of $149 per year. Incfile/Bizee has a better price for registered agent service, at $119 per year, and it has a $99 rate for annual reports that’s identical to CorpNet’s price point.
